Putting compassion into action

Our Biblical approach to caring for widows and orphans compels us to create programs that address poverty and develop strategies to break the orphan cycle.

God’s heart is for family, naturally and spiritually.

To place the lonely in the love of His people will be mutually transforming, bringing the Rule and Reign of Heaven to Earth.

Why we exist

Amiina Ministries exists to demonstrate the love of Jesus by uniting families across the globe to empower the neglected and vulnerable families of Uganda in discovering their divine potential and purpose to become excellent and influential Christian leaders in their communities.

“…that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”

Isaiah 61:3

What we are doing

Amiina Ministries is restoring hope, rebuilding lives and raising up a generation to break the cycle of poverty, preserve families and bring sustainable transformation to communities.

“And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.”

Isaiah 58:12

Core values

Christ centered discipleship

Stewardship + Transparency

We are accountable for every resource, every dollar, and every person who God has entrusted to us. We promise transparency to our donors, our board, our staff, and the people we serve.

Biblical Truth + Prayer

Prayer is the ministry. Everything that Amiina Ministries does is soaked in prayer. The Bible is our compass. We hold fast and true to what the Bible says, believing it is the Living Word of God.

Every. Life. Matters.

We believe that we are adopted as sons and daughters through Christ Jesus. Therefore, we are brothers and sisters belonging to the Family of God.

Family

We are committed to preserving families by coming alongside, seeking to demonstrate the love of Jesus while helping children and families find their divine potential and purpose through discipleship, education, and practical care. Because we believe family is God’s heart, we encourage and empower families within God’s family to teach and to raise up their children in the ways of the LORD. We believe the love of Jesus is the catalyst that changes everything.

Excellence

We do our work unto the LORD. Therefore, we are committed to do all things with passion and excellence. We will do what we say we will do.
